Hi Steve, How are you?
I recorded my album in Ronnie Milsap's old studio here in Nashville, it was cool just to know that, even more me getting to record there. Nice to meet you and have a great evening.

I wanted to let you know that I created a survey - an anonymous one - for men in the audio recording industry, and wanted to invite you to participate (if you feel so inclined).
It is for any/all MEN in the industry - a quick 10-question survey - for statistical and industry research.
If interested, cut and paste the following link into a browser window:

It is of the utmost importance that you be honest - brutally honest, if need be, when taking this survey - and remember, it is anonymous. Say was you think and feel!
Thanks for your participation and rock on!
Sincerely,
Jill Kares
P.S. Please feel free to pass this on to any male in the industry. The more that take this survey, the more data we have to work with.
Steve, I appreciate the sentiment, and of course always appreciated your business and friendship. In some ways I'd love to do it again, but I doubt I've got another Sam's Music in me; that was kind of a magic thing that I was blessed with for awhile, and it was hard to lose. Plus, things are quite different now in the marketplace as well. Back then people were spending more on gear than their home, and there was no Internet or Guitar Center, so a good local store was not only welcome, but necessary. I'm enjoying the small store concept I'm doing here on the island, and keeping enough time and energy to be creative. I just started hosting a writer's night at a local pub and we're having a blast with it; I even get to do some of my own tunes. Never know, though. Keep in touch.
Hey Steve! It's great to finally be on NMP. I wanted you to know that I recently got Pro Tools MboxPro2 as well as Melodyne. I'm going to be tuning vocals for David Hamilton. Please say hello to your wonderful family for me.
Blessings,
