- I moved to Nashville as a steel guitar player for Opryland in 1979 when I was seventeen, then moved into other complimenting areas of the business as well, while the years passed~ I feel truly and personally blessed for my career in music, as well as my life in general. Over the years I've performed on stages playing pedal steel guitar with many great artists including Shania Twain, Loretta Lynn, Merle Haggard, and a host of many others. Though I've always been in on the bands 'make up, or chemistry' and also did a fair amount of producing in the studios, I finally began producing as my primary occupation in 1993 just after leaving the band Shania Twain hired me to form, and from there produced the Lynn's (Peggy and Patsy) and afterward came into many wonderful years of enjoyable production projects!
I actually started an indie label (called WMI) in 1995 for singles releases on a number of indie projects. WMI Nashville is still active today and has had several successful single release campaigns since 1995 throughout present.
Presently we have our own recording studio (since 2006) and along with producing artists and looking for the next great talent, I still manage to do a fair amount of online steel guitar tracking work. Please feel free to call me if you're interested.
