Tim Kish is a Producer / Recording Engineer whose career has spanned over 30 years, Kish attended college and achieved a degree in Electronic Engineering while also working for a company that installed and repaired recording equipment in studios. Within a couple of years, he found himself working as a recording engineer for Sound Stage Studios in Nashville.
Kish had the pleasure of working with legendary record producer Jimmy Bowen for over 10 years. Bowen was at the height of his popularity as a producer and was creating music with some of the foremost artist and musicians at the time. The opportunity to work alongside these masters of their craft provided great experience, hands-on education, and a fulfilling career for Kish. A few other producers he has worked with include Jerry Crutchfield, James Stroud, Tony Brown and Richard Landis.
Kish has worked for most of the major record labels in the best recording studios in Nashville, including MCA Records, Capital Records, RCA and Warner Bros. He played a part in the evolution and creation of successful records, including those of George Strait, Reba McEntire, Hank Williams Jr., Roger Miller, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, Waylon Jennings, Glen Campbell, Conway Twitty, Vince Gill, Tanya Tucker, Loretta Lynn, Juice Newton, Tracy Byrd, Oak Ridge Boys, Eddie Rabbitt and Dan Seals, among many others. Tim Kish has recorded and mixed on over 200 successful albums, including at least 30 gold and platinum albums.
During his career, Kish also developed his skills as a producer, producing countless projects as well as engineering them. He has produced projects with Dan Seals, Eddie Rabbitt, Nikki Gardner, Justin Wortham, Curtis Young and Tim Dugger, to name a few. As a recording engineer and producer, Kish is instrumental in helping artists realize their vision by capturing the nuances and unique characteristics of the instruments and their voices, allowing the full expression of the performers to be realized.
