- I spent 26 years in Nashville primarily as a singer/songwriter and indy producer. I wrote for Word Music, PolyGram Music (under the legendary Jerry Kennedy), and was Creative Director of my own publishing company, Crossfield Music. I worked on the road with Connie Smith, Paul Overstreet, Shania Twain, and a few more. I continue to be one of the original Women In The Round writer's show (with Karen Staley, Ashley Cleveland, and Pam Tillis). I returned to my native Mississippi in 2006 to serve as director of the Delta Music Institute, a new recording arts and music biz program at Delta State University. And on top of having my first "real" job in 30 years, I'm still recording and performing under the umbrella of the Big Front Porch. Feel free to drop by at www.bigfrontporch.com
