About Me:
I am the founder of Indie Connect, your source for Indie Artist Training and Live Networking! , Our website (www.indieconnect.com) has over 80 training videos as well as hundreds of articles, tools and resources. Plus, we hosts multiple monthly music industry networking events and workshops in middle TN. Each event features a speaker or a discussion addressing a topic relating to making money making music.
Personally, I was a full time musician, booking agent and artist manager for many years in Connecticut and Nevada. I have served as Director of Label and Artist Relations for Indie Extreme, a company that provides back office support, vendor coordination and marketing services to independent artists and record labels. I was also the COO and on the board of American Music Channel, an online site for music videos of all genres.
I have been a small business consultant for 10 years, and I am the author of "CEO Secrets - What They Know About Business That Every Entrepreneur Should". The book is a product of being mentored by some of the greatest business minds in the world, and then coaching literally over 1,000 business owners and entrrpreneurs.
And, of course, I am a songwriter. I am always looking for opportunities to co-write. I've posted some of my songs in various genres that I have written or co-written.
Thanks for the warm Nashville welcome! I would like to talk to you at some point about what I'm looking to do here in Nashville as well. I actually had already come across your "New to Nashville" workshop on the site's NewsShare section, and was thinking about dropping by sometime soon.
Drop me a line if you have anything specific in mind.
Mr. Ribas,
I think your organization is a great thing and I want very much to join Indie Connect but I am on a very low fixed income and ninety dollars is more than I can pay all at once. Is there any way we could break that up into more payments?

Hey Vinny,
Just wanted to let you know that I have passed out almost all of the cards you left me at the store. I hope it goes well for you and I can get down there soon. Have a great weekend,
Rex
Thanks Vinny,
I hope to get out there soon. We talked about closing for lunch and coming on by. I'll tell our group of players about it. Best of luck and thanks for the kind words,
Rex
