About Me:: I'm a nashville born native, the third of five children. We all received music lessons when we were children because my parents were inspired by relatives and friends in the music business. My fathers cousin, The late Rubin Phillips was the music director at the Apollo Theater, and was the Producer,Arranger for for the late Dina Washington. he convinced my Father to buy a Piano, Guitars,Horns, and drums. I ended up playing all of those instruments but never stayed with it. So my Parents bought me a Bass Guitar and I was good enough on the Bass to stay interested, and it is still my primary instrument today.
