Remembering Will

I just posted a video on the Facebook page 'In Memory of William Owsley: Musician, Producer, Artist.' It's Will being Will in the studio back in 1994. Would have posted it here too, but it's a little over the size limit for posting on NMP. But you can view it here:'ll miss ya, Will.See More

Work, and thoughts about it

Well, as I said in an earlier posting, I still believe that there can be Life after a recording career. I'm just having a rough time with it at the moment.

After the last two-plus years of working in retail, I've got to say that I really hate "working for The Man." I used to love my boss... back when I was self employed, doing a job that I loved. Back then I knew that my boss always had my best interest at heart. But working for The Man isn't like that at all.. my current boss… Continue

Hey dood! I don't think we've talked since the House Of Gold days! Great to see you here on NMP. I read in your bio that you had worked with my bud, Peter Frampton. He and I wrote about a half dozen songs together while he was living here. Great times. We still keep in touch. Did you know that Bob Montgomery lives in Australia now? He seems very happy. If you saw where he lived, you'd understand why. Hollah at me sometime and we'll get a cup of magic bean elixir and catch up.

JB, Great to hear from you. When I saw you on here, that Panasonic deal (plus all the great talks and hangs with Jackie at Blackstone) came to mind.

I was really proud of your winning ways last night! :) Have you started your new rock band yet? Thanks for coming out. As always, it was good to see you again.

I am doing ok too. Still seems surreal some days to be honest. It's made me think a lot about stuff.

Right now I'm just looking for work but then what engineer isn't right?

Yeah, man it's been a minute! I'd love to see you. A good place to catch me is on Wednesday nights at 12th and Porter. I play with Nathan Lee over there right now, and starting in April I'll be playing with Damien Horne and Nathan Lee over there on Wednesdays. Dad's been known to show up and hang. I know he'd love to see you, too!

I really dig your work! We met a long time ago, which you may not remember 'cause it was brief, but it involved Blackstone's, some mutual aquaintances and beer, so, the sentiment was good!!! All the best!

Hey JB,

Wow, it's been a while. I didn't get to go to anything for Jackie. I had been sick for about two weeks and then was tracking end of this week. Life is to crazy. Hope you are well.
