Hey Mike, great to hear from you. Keith is back down here near Charlotte now, but commutes back and forth to Nashville for things. Hope you are well....
I was living up there for about 6 years, but I just couldn't get in the "click", and couldn't work enough as an engineer. I thought I was doing a good job, but I was last call at the studios I was associated with, like TBN, etc.
I got a job offer here in Charlotte, to score a kids TV show done out of Australia. "Raggs Kids Club Band". It's a rock band of dogs. Sort of like the old "Banana Splits", if you remenber that as a kid.
It was a full time gig, but after 2 years, they let me go, and worked me as contract for hire, still scoring the shows even now.
I've been doing a lot of midi orchestration, and additional keys, for clients up there in N-town, Rick Lloyd, now at Inlight Records, and also long time friend, Rick Sandidge at Mark five Co. Occasionally, I'll also get some work from ProTools engineer, Joe Carrell, and also I've done a few things for Jeremy Medkiff.
I've done some things for Buddy Mullins, if you know him. I learned about Nashvillmusicpros, after getting an email from old friend, Coleman Murphy, and seeing the link on his email.
This is great!!! Maybe I can keep in touch with you guys this way.
Hey Mike! Long time no see! As I read down the wall I see you have a baby girl on the way, SWEET! Me too! Sept. 24th is our due date, what's yours (well, Alisa's that is, haha)
