I believe I have the correct forms. To copyright a collection you need to use the PA form. I'm just not sure exactly how many copies of the CD I need to send, and on question 6, do I fill in part B only, or do I fill in part A as well, when it comes to describing exactly what I'm copyrighting. At this time I'm only copyrightiing a collection of lyrics, ie; ...Songbook. Any info will be deeply appreciated.

Hey folks!
My name is David August and I am the lead vocalist for the new country act North Of Mason-Dixon (NOMaD). We are in the finals of a national competition held by Briggs and Stratton, the engine folks. The winner gets to perform at SummerFest, the world's biggest music festival! We've been attempting to get into this festival for years and this is just another way. The contest runs online for a little less than two more weeks and it is voting based. We are currently in second…

Little joe, run for the border
Leave your home
Go where the reptiles roam
On the side of the border that is your home
Little joe, eyes of your lover look back on you
As you run for cover
Though stick and fire and may break your bones
There's a light in the tunnel that leads you home
Little joe, just like your father
Your eyes will water, your guts will splatter
Though sticks and fire, sticks and fire
Won't break… Continue

I want to invite all members out for a benefit concert for my talented local friend, Liza Martin. She's battling cancer going through chemo & radiation. Her bills go on even though she isn't always able to work. The show is Wednesday, June 10 @ Douglas Corner 7-11. The line-up is awesome!! Pam Tillis, Lady Antebellum, Ray Herndon, Donna Ulisse and hopefully Liza will sing herself...she's the best kept vocal secret in Music City!! thanks Linda loves ya!

I had a wonderful experience in Baltimore with the Trey Anastasio, music director Marin Alsop and the BSO! I arranged and orchestrated everything on the program and co-composed the
featured work for the evening with Trey. That piece, 'Time Turns Elastic', is a 30 minute symphonic work commissioned by Nashville's very own Orchestra Nashville, and features Trey's virtuosic electric guitar work and his…

You were wrong when you said
Everything's gonna be alright
You were wrong when you said
Everything's gonna be alright
You were right when you said
All that glitters isn't gold
You were right when you said
All we are is dust in the wind
You were right when you said
We are all just bricks in the wall
And when you said manic depression's a frustrating mess
You were wrong when you said
Everything's gonna be alright

If we have any hope for survival of the music that we all love, compassion must replace name-calling, fairness must replace greed and we need to come together as a musical community and try to understand each other's problems. I once suggested to Don Henley, many years ago after I had left Polygram, that we should form an artist-driven record label, much like Charlie Chaplin did… Continue
