I'm walking to my car from having had a cup of coffee at some non-descript coffee joint. A gentleman I'd just met is walking alongside me. He also, I assume, going to his own car after our meeting. As we are walking, we pass by a church, who's door is crooked open slightly. We hear an uillian pipe pierce through the opening. Immediately, my head turns to listen.

I won the "Spirit Award" at the WMBA Awards cocktail party. WMBA is "Women in the Music Business Association". It was pretty cool! I never expected to win but it's nice to be recognized by friends and colleagues.

- Sing the melody to a familiar song in a different mode... if it's normally sung in a major key, flatten every third and fifth of the chord and sing
