Happy Father's Day Sam!

I think more times than

this person has a private life too. Many times that means family,

children etc... Many people in the entertainment field are just seen as

icons and legends and at times are not given the simple respect and

consideration that everyone else has grown to expect and take for

granted. I would…

Paying Tribute to My Grandfather

Although my Grandfather did many great things in his life, for me, the

greatest thing he ever did was love me as his own daughter. Each year

in The State of California, The Ed Sias Invitational is held to honor

my Grandpa but for him, all he ever wanted to do was help the kids. He

loved kids and loved to run. Seeing the kids of College Park High

School working out after school at the track filled his life for many

many years… Continue

Tips for Singing with a Jacked Up Throat

Vocal strain is unfortunately a common issue for active live performers who are not doing good, consistent vocal training. Someone recently asked me this question:

I think that I overused my voice last week. I had a couple of extra gigs I picked up and am just not used to the extra singing and now my throat is all kinds of jacked

up... Any tips you can send my way to help me make it through tonight

and tomorrow night?…

Many times when I was playing live I would want to say something to the crowd, but when I started speaking, it would come out a disjointed, rambling mess.…

Vocal Warm Ups... What They Should Accomplish?

Vocal Warm Ups: What They Should Accomplish

There are a

gazillion different vocal exercises out there you can do. How do you
