Becoming The Best Singer You Can Be

From Vocal Coach Chris Beatty vocalcoach.com

Hi Singers! As a vocal coach for many years I wanted to share some thoughts and principles to help you be your best.

  • Don’t be satisfied with where you are. There’s always more to learn!
  • Make a fresh and ambitious list of your vocal goals.
  • Start with the foundations and build from there.

Don’t Be Satisfied With Where You…

Hurricane Katrina anniversary. Listen to my song "Eye of the Hurricane"

Please go to my site and listen to my song "Eye of the Hurricane" that I wrote with my friend Jeff Bailey 2 weeks after Hurricane Katrina. We wrote it one night and recorded it the next day and within a week had it playing on stations in several states affected by the storm. We also used it for fundraisers with proceeds that went to the victims. I thought I would post this since it is the 5 year anniversary today. Please let me know what you think.

Video Collaboration Project

One thing I've come to see is Music City is like an iceberg, you only see a fraction of what's happening on the surface, and that the real work of this town is talent development. It's a constant search for the next song, artist, band or video that will break out and satiate the appetite of that huge ever-hungry audience out there outside the city limits. I… Continue

I have a new book or movie script. Now what?

My latest project is a book/movie script that I have written with my friend and co-writer Jack Witteveen called "Swampland". The story came from the song "Swampland" that we wrote last year. We decided to expand on the song and made the story which now has a soundtrack with 6 songs that are written into the story.

The story takes the character back to a childhood memory of adventure and a dark secret that takes place in the swampland of Bayou Cain Louisiana. It is a modern day Tom…
