Christmas Poem 2011 - The Night Before Christmas - In the Studio - Adapted by Peter Kendall Warren

The Night Before Christmas - In the Studio - Adapted by Peter Kendall Warren

T'was the night before Christmas, when all through the studio

Not an engineer was mixing, not clicking mouse.

The cables were hung by the headphones with care,

In hopes that the paychecks soon would be there.

The microphones were nestled all snug in their foam beds,

While visions of re-ribbon jobs danced in their shiny…

“Keys to Longevity In the Music Biz” by Pastor Bob Beeman

I am one of those old guys. It has been 40 years now that I have been working with Christian rock music. At the beginning, there were only a handful of us. Today, it has become a very profitable market. There are very few of us around anymore. Some have gone on to be with the Lord, and others have simply dropped out. But for those few who are still involved, I see a common thread.

Let me first say that I am not one of those “remember the good ol’ days” kinda guys. For me, THESE are the… Continue

"How Online Ticketing Helps Indie Artists" by Gary Bradshaw

“How Online Ticketing Helps Indie Artists” by Gary Bradshaw

As an independent artist you have some additional challenges as well as some additional freedoms and one area most artist overlook is the ticketing of the events they perform. Nashville Guitar Rescue - Souncheck (Ambrose Street)

May 1, 2010, Nashville was hit with a devastating series of storms. As a result, Nashville experienced its worst flood in history. Many homes and businesses were lost, even more tragic, lives were lost.

Unlike most cities, when tragedy struck, the people of Nashville banned together and helped their friends, neighbors and even total strangers. Instead of looting, rioting…
