March 26 / 2011 .. Nahunta, Ga Shenandoah at the Down South Festival_ First Show of the year..

 Buss call was Friday at midnight to climb aboard the "Hillbilly Hotel". On this trip would be the usual suspects, Jimmy Yeary, Jim Seales, Mike Mcguire, myself and the fairly new, Jeff Allen, subbing for Mike Folsom on bass. Folsom is still recovering from his hand and arm injury he suffered last year and we wish him a full recovery. At the helm steering us to Nahunter, Ga would be Kyle. This would be Kyle's first time to drive for Shenandoah and we looked forward to getting to know him.…

Shenandoah pulled out of the Kroger parking lot around 1:45 am..with John Gee driving. We were off to do a Thursday night show at a club on a naval base in Goose Creek, SC.

After just hitting the bunks and not getting much sleep..we awoke in Auburn, Al at the Sticks Music Festival. Our brains were still foggy from the late show Friday night..as we crawled down the bus hall towards the coffee pot.

Shenandoah left Nashville, at 2 am from the Kroger parking lot with no additional guests this time. It was just the band ...along with Bart Barlettano and Byron Cumbie, (our FOH guy and Merch man). When we leave at such a late or early hour..however you wanna put it..we always end up staying up way past our bedtime..I think it was around 5:30 am when most of us hit the bunks.

Jimmy Yeary and the whole Shenandoah gang, met at the kroger parking lot at 1 am to head for Kenton, Ohio to play Kenton National. Jim Seales gal, Donna was aboard as well as Billy Ryan and drummer, Keeley lane and guitarist, Rod Riley.

Shenandoah Makes a Difference to a Fan!!

JUL 26 - HALE, MI - Shenandoah at the Iosco County Fair



We headed out of Nashville for our long trip to Hale, Michigan around 10 o'clock with just the band onboard..no extras. It was a good 14 hour drive.



We arrived the next day to find great temperatures and low humidity. We like that.



We sound checked that afternoon and I stayed on the bus till the show. Shenandoah did a 75 min show to an almost sold out crowd and had a blast.

Shenandoah Takes New Promo Pics and Stan Finds Toilet on Main Street!

June 5th/08 CORSICANA, TX - Shenandoah at The Palace Theater



Once again the bus we affectionately refer to as the "Hillbilly Hotel", left Nashville around

12:30 am with a slightly smaller crowd than what we had last week. No guests ..just the band and of course, the driver. A lot of us were dealing with the seasonal allergy and sinus crud , so once we hit the bunks for bed, it sounded like a symphony of coughs and snorts all night.
