"LOCK SHIELDS! (IT'S PRAYING TIME)
When I was growing up as a preacher's kid, the words: IT'S PRAYING TIME became a "constant" but also a very "ordinary" phrase to me...Me and my brother jus took it for granted that whatever the need was, the PREACHER would handle it and everything would be ok...My mom taught me how to pray, how to fast and HOW TO BEG.....(not really the begging part, I taught that to myself) ha! I can still hear her today saying alright kids, it's praying time; the enemy's at it again and we're coming against him in FULL FORCE...LOCK SHIELDS...and then we'd go to praying and I'll never forget one certain time we had "locked shields" about someone having a dreaded disease and once we started praying and mama started shoutin', it seemed as if the VERY HEAVENS themselves would begin to open up and my Heavenly Father just so sweetly whispered to my mama: "yes daughter"....then not five or 10 minutes went by and the phone would ring and it would be an ANSWER to that VERY PRAYER that we just "locked shields" about...
I'm older now and with a family of my own and those words: IT'S PRAYING TIME are NOT so "ordinary" anymore...In fact, they are VERY SPECIAL & actually XTRA ORDINARY now and much needed in today's society...I can't lean on my mom and let her "open Heaven" for me anymore...because now the mantle has passed and it's my turn to turn to my wife/daughter/grand daughter and PROCLAIM: Lock shields, IT'S PRAYING TIME.
I "charge" anyone that's going thru a rough place right now either financially, physically, emotionally or spiritually to PROCLAIM: "LOCK SHIELDS, IT'S PRAYING TIME" and just watch your Heavenly Father open up Heaven for you.
