Along the same lines, I started to get worried a few years ago when all these amazing orchestral sample libraries came out. As a composer, my fear was that "everyone's gonna be able to sound like Hans Zimmer now." Well, I was half right. Everyone's SOUNDS sound like Hans Zimmer now, but it still takes talent to make music out of them ;-)

There is also no plug-in for mic placement, technique, selection of mic for each instrument, which pre to use, eq to put in the chain, compressor or compressors to use, etc, etc, etc.

GYM, That's what the schools are teaching, Get the CLA Plugs and you can Bill $7000 a mix. It's part of the ploy to get kids to go to he schools. SAE charges $19,500.00 and in the end the student can't even align a analog 2-track.

uhh...didn't they release Chris Lord Alge's presets for Waves SSL?? Now you just dial it in the CLA would?! Presto, you're instantly an engineer! :) ha!
