This years SUMMER NAMM SHOW 2009held at the NASHVILLE CONVENTION CENTER was a rousing success, I feel. The company I represent demonstrated their high quality line of instruments. Some major vendors where absent as in Peavy, Gibson and Fender, but hey, made room for the rest to sell and party, sell & party we did!

Our booth was #1248 with the whole Morrell crew from Bristol, TN and the awesome instruments. Recently, I recieved a full endorsement from Morrell Music on thier Lap Steels, this was secured through Judy Whiting of Lilac Moon Productions. The performances on Lap Steel and Dobro by myself accompanied by Eugene Moles on guitar for Friday, with Mike Dunbar on Bass made for a No-stress fun performance. On Saturday Mike and I did some music on bass and Lap steel and then performed also on Dobro with Mike on Banjo! Sunday Mike and I were joined by Steve Forrest Hamblen who came all the way from Maine to perform with us! Steve is an excellant drummer, but couldn't get drums in due to space, so he brought his sticks and did a great job on a small box, which got the audience going...Thanks Steve!

So many friends turned out to and for that I am so grateful! Met some ole Friends and made new ones. Billy Block visited the booth and he heads up the National BILLY BLOCK radio show with lots of great performers. Mark Logsdon from Pam Lewis's PLA Media dropped by as did the standing presdient of the local Musicians Union 257 Dave Pomeroy. Danny Schafer also dropped by, he is one awesome musician, writer, producer and singer. Danny had a long successful run with SHANIA TWAIN.

I have to give much credit to Judy Whiting and Lilac Moon Productions for securing and organizing this wonderful opportunity for me!
