Hi, Gregg! It's absolutely a pleasure to meet you, and to become acquainted with The Juke Joint as well... it looks great- inviting and comfortable, in the slide show and on the website. And just a stone's throw from what is by far my all-time favorite mastering place anywhere, Mayfield Mastering, on Iris. In fact, check out John's page on this site, it's always good to know talented neighbors. Of course I'm tickled that you enjoyed the notes from the Thelonius Monk rehearsal. Words of wisdom from a master. Meanwhile, all the best to you in your new home, hope to meet up sometime soon!
Nice to hear someone else that 'gets' it! Go to www.tomjacksonproductions.com and read Tom's blogs. His new DVD series is finally out and is amazing. Some of it shows him working with the artist on stage creating moments - very cool. Seems like once artists see how the audience sees them, the light bulb comes on and it finally makes sense!
Glad to have you as a new friend! Hope to meet up soon. I am at Soundcheck tomorrow in Digital Console Rental...if you time please stop by. If not then please keep in touch. I will be back on the 17th of Dec
exit four! for most of my life that is, early on I was way up close to the new jersey new york border, by New York City... but then DE, and then here... it took way too long to get here and I didn't even know I was meant to be here! But I love it down here... I miss Jersey beaches!

Hey Gregg,
Thanks for your fun comment and no, I didn't know Quincy wrote the Austin Power's theme! That is mod cool, baby.
I LOVE the music quotes on the juke joint recording site. I'd be surprised if we hadn't worked together in NYC...or at least know a lot of the same musicians.
