Hey Jeff Thanks for the ad and welcome to NMP I see you know my old friend Mike Douchette,We've played many a session together, feel free to contact me if there is anything I can ever do for you Joe
I will say this about Robbie...If I wanted someone to have my back and know without a doubt they would be there...I would pick him...
Robbie is the real deal...
He's also stubborn as a mule...But I love that guy to death...Lisa too.. As well as their girls..
He sure did. I played a bunch of sessions with him at Majors, and we also have done a bunch at the new place before Robbie moved the Majors equipment there. PLUS we worked a ton of sessions when I had a studio in NJ and in Delaware. We have spent MANY nights on each others couches!!!
Yea I met Robbie I think late 80s we traveled with a guy named Joey Davis and worked for John Major at MRC recording studio Waynesville VA... Actually he bought Johns equipment and put some of it in his new place in Virginia...
I have known Robbie and Lisa for close to 20 years, Their one of my dearest friends and he's a great Bass Player...I also play music with them from time to time...He told me you was working there some...I'm surprised your coming to town...I figured you had the market cornerd up there...
No doubt. What's REALLY weird is that your name came up in conversation this morning with Rich Stevens, from the Warren, OH area, as we talked about long ago groups!
If you mean adding the sales tax, bring it on. You pay the sales tax in DE, you just don't pay it like you do in NJ or TN at the "point of sale". Plus, the savings in property taxes, plus the lower cost of housing, (I can replace my DE home in TN for half) PLUS business contacts make it worthwhile!
I met and worked with Jeremy a year and a half ago when we did a concert video for Jimmy Fortune. Good guy, and great player. All you need to do is ask Rick and Fran HOW long we go back. (about 35 years!)
My wife and I were in town in early June, and with Rick and Fran's help we found a new development we would love to move to. If that changes I'll check with Jeremy about his mom. All we need to do here is sell the house, hopefully by the fall!
Jeff,
Love the cut of "HE KNOWS MY NAME." It would be so cool to have you, Sue and about a 30 piece string section in one studio with the red light on.
Holly Starr - "Through My Father's Eyes" is the official New Christian music video for the radio single "Through My Father's Eyes" from the Christian singer'...

Yeah it seems that most of those Virginia dates have fallen through. Hope to catch ya next time, if not down here!

Hope you're doing well. I worked with Phil and Rick years ago in Greenville, SC. Please give my best to either of them when you see them.
Welcome to NMP! Take care,
Russell
