Woody,
What's happenin' man? Hope you're doing well. I just got back from Korea, very cool trip! Heading out tonight to the west coast for a couple of weeks. Look forward to playin' with you again soon.
Take care...
Duane
Yeah, I do hire VO talent quite often. I have about 6 people I use regularly, including folks like David Jeremiah. I have some very talented people to work with, but ALWAYS need more people to chose from. When working with a client, I send them 30 second demo reels from the VO's so they can pick the voice(s) they want.
Please send me a demo (if she has one) to pete@insightsentertainment.com and I'll put her in the rotation.
Sometimes we get flooded with requests, and other times it's really slow, so it may be only occasional that I hire her, or it could be quite often. I never know.
You asked where we are at the moment... We're still located in FL, and that's where my studio is. ALL of the VO's I work with typically cut their part in their home studio (with the cheap ProTools LE systems available, it's easy to do), and then send me the file. I edit it here. Simple and easy.
We're hoping to have a house in Franklin by the end of the summer (trying to sell ours in Florida now), and I'll set up shop in there when we do. But even then, I'd prefer that VO's cut their parts at their own studio, for sake of quick work turnaround.
Man, I almost made it out Sunday night on a whim. If I had known you were there I would have made it happen. Do you post your in-town dates anywhere so I can be sure to catch you sometime?

Hey Woody! Thanks for the message! How's Gary P. doin'? Hey, I know everybody you're playin' with.I've known Mike Gallaher since the mid '70's . He was just a kid. I gotta come see you guys. I know Minnie, too. What part of town are you in? wanta be part of the Franklin Starbucks bunch?
Hi Woody! It's been a while indeed ... thanks for saying hello. I don't remember the artist we rehearsed with a few years ago but I remember how great you played and hope we get to work together again. Take care my friend!

It has been too long.
I think we've had a lot of near misses lately, so the stars should align soon.
Take care,
Bob
It's good to hear from you. Hope you and yours are all happy and well.
