what a trip? i believe that i knew susan as susan newman, miss carson newman by the way. that title on a business card will get you in some doors. well, i suppose it depends on your gender and the door in question but... anyway, tell your wife to send my kindest regards from myself and my wife, carol (sawyer). LRB just played 3rd and Lindsley in march. i will try to be more forthcoming in the future. It's a fun gig - we do about 100 shows a year so it's not so busy that i am constantly out of town. take care - thanks for the word from susan.
Gary! Good to hear from you. I'm tickled to be reading all our profiles -- years in the business . . . 20 years, 30 years . . . OMG! I hope to figure out how to load my main photo before the day's over. Or I could use the police sketch of the leprechaun that John Hammond is using.
Hey, Gary! Thanks, buddy! I can see where this forum can be good in keeping contact after only a week here. Glad Michael told me about it. If you need any help man, just keep in touch and I'll help you "break" into this music business! Ha!
skimming thru the list of peops on this page and happened upon you. It's been a long time but i wanted to say hey. It's rare that our paths cross anymore but i always enjoy hearing your work. lot of water under the bridge since you gave me my first tour of Nashville proper back in early 80's with old Keith mac. See ya
Hey Gary. Thanks for the heads-up on this page. I've taken the first part of the year off, but I'll fire up here with something wonderful when I get back from the coast of North Carolina after the 1st of March. Thanks again, my friend. Ron
