Hey Courtney, I just left your myspace and I thought you had a great sound, I don't know if you have a group together or not but i am looking for something to get into. My main instrument is sax but I double on keys and guitar and sing backup. Thanks john Garr www.johngarr.com
You seem to have a large fan club already that will move the earth for you. You must have contacted me because you are lookinfg for legal guidance. Please let me know about your next gig in nashville. By chance, did you win a contest that gave you studio time?
I have been involved in all styles in the past...currently been playing country, rock, dance, alternative. Can switch up when required. Keep me up to date :)
Hey Courtney...listened to your music on myspace and it sounded great. Let me know if ever you need a drummer anytime. Would love to work with you sometime. Also let me know when your next local live date is.
Yeah, Matt's really cool, and an awesome musician. We work on most of our music projects together. Anxious to hear some of your stuff. It doesn't matter how rough a recording it is. When we hear your ideas and some of the stuff your shooting for with the songs, we'll be able to put some things together and make it sound awesome.
I live in San Antonio but could fly to TN if need be. I'm looking for promising people that have serious potential to work with. You seem to have your s*it together. So I'm very interested. In the past, I've worked and written songs with artists online through email talking about concepts through the phone. If need be, I could find a cheap place in your area to live months at a time flying or driving between the two. I don't think I'm going to be available to work with you in TN next week, but I'll give you a call tomorrow (wednesday) to discuss plans in detail. You should move to Austin.
Hey! I pretty much play whatever. I currently play in a band called the Flashbacks from Alabama. They are a show band and do a lot of motown and soul stuff. It's a weekends only gig and I am also trying to fill in my schedule and do more local work especially with original acts.
Hey Courtney:
I'll be back in town in a few days. Let me know what's up. I'm always open to new things (especially when it's with another former New Yorker)! btw, the tracks sound great! Thanks for the friend request.
Interested. I'd like to talk with you more in depth about your plans soon. I can definitely do the pop thing. I have a very powerful keyboard that can get you any instrument or effect, if you couldn't tell by the ridiculously dumb song I recorded called "Imaginationland" on my myspace page. haha. I could also do lead guitar or rhythm, but I think the best choice for your band would be putting me on keys since that's what I play best. Yes, I do write songs, but I like to collaborate more than work by myself. Feel free to contact me any time.
Hi, thanks for the welcome! I'm somewhere between Neil Finn and Radiohead - kind of an alt. folk w/ some electronica in there on some stuff and other stuff more straight ahead acoustic w/ (hopefully interesting) instrumentation mixed in. I'm mixing an alt country record now and working on a mainstream country demo so I guess I'm all over the map - as are many. Peace!
