the V-Piano is stunning period!! and getting into the box cleanly just preserves that
sound. we are going to cut some radio spots here next week so i will get a chance to
hear the chandler and manley in the vocal chain- as i write this "all your life is playin"-
great track !!!!!

I'm most curious to hear the vari-mu.- big and warm- but the chandler is also big and warm-
hard to delineate the bigness and warmness of the particular pieces ;)

i ride by your house 3 times a week now- we run up split log to wilson pike and
go south- one morning we'll hang-

how are things going with Mary Ellen-??

we launched Drew last week- check it out when you have a min-
andrewcharbonnet.com- we have had 1500 album downloads in the first 10 days-
Whew hew!!

haha! no not at all. I've just been swamped, so haven't been able to get on NMP as much as I'd like. There's actually a public beta gonna be right around the corner. I'll let u know when it comes, but they should have a formal announcement on http://www.celemony.com as well. I'm not sure the limitations of the beta or if there's a first come first serve, etc.

That's awesome for harmonies! I've also used it to align an overdub with the live vocals on the Mute Math : Flesh & Bone DVD. it's AMAZING for that. same for the Newsboys : live in houston cd/dvd. I love Melodyne, because there's always new territories of music to branch into, aside from the typical "tuning" everyone thinks it's limited to.

Also, check out http://www.zplane.de/ I'm supposed to get a license for Vieklang, which is supposed to be a pretty sick harmony creation tool. then u can edit the outputs like melodyne. Also trying to get my hands on Elastique Pitch. Evidently, Z-Plane licenses their coding for the major sequencers that handle pitch and time adjustments. (I'm assuming this is Pro Tools, new Logic, etc) either way it looks very interesting, and I can't wait to get a copy!

Keep in touch man!

Hey Pete. Thanks for the msg. DNA is almost ready to roll. Haven't demo'd it myself, but Celemony pushed back the date again and again. Last I heard, it was just a few weeks away. I'll find out and get back to u asap.

Hey Pete! Where is Blinding Me? Stopped by to take a listen. Just added a song to my page, live in Nashville, a songwriter event. We wrote it in hours so not the finished product but a vocal sampling of sorts. It looks like you added some new pics.

Hi Pete,

Sorry I haven't been back in touch. It's been a very busy stretch. 'Time Turns Elastic' is out (and always was going to be) on Trey Anastasio's label, Rubber Jungle Records. http://www.treyanastasio.com/news/

Out of town this week - let's catch up in the next week or so.

well, I went on and on about how I enjoyed listening to the music while viewing the photos, and was warned that I was well over my 200 word limit. Well, I didn't want to argue with the darn thing nor did I want to count them, so I stripped the message down a bit. Glad you found it amusing. Jake PS. Hello.

Thanks, Pete. You must have been listening over at Myspace. Been so long since I looked at what was in the player here on NMP - sort of surprised me that those excerpts weren't here. I need to add a few things to this player. Will also email you links where you can download a the entire piece and a couple of other current things.

Yeah man, unchecked multi-processor support, and it helped for all of two notes--but those were two notes I couldn't squeeze out before! I ended up just backing up the data, reformatting in NTFS, and copying it all back on. That helped a little, but not as much as I had hoped. I'm not sure how to ultimately fix it. Maybe an eSATA enclosure? Regardless, problem overcome for now. That part of this project is over. Thanks for the suggestion!
